These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern the use of the Maslow Research Center website and participation in all programs offered by Maslow Research Center, including online training for individuals and corporate projects.
By accessing the website or enrolling in a program, you agree to comply with these Terms.
1. Definitions
a) “Business Day” – Any day excluding Saturdays, Sundays, or statutory holidays in Delaware, USA.
b) “Participant” – The individual who has enrolled in a program offered by Maslow Research Center.
c) “Program” – The specific course or program provided by Maslow Research Center to which the Participant has enrolled.
d) “Fees” – The payment required for attending any program, including applicable taxes.
e) “Cohort” – The group of participants enrolled in a Program beginning on the same Start Date.
f) “Personal Information” – Data relating to an individual’s identity, such as their name, contact details, or any other identifiable information.
g) “Sponsoring Organization” – Any entity that sponsors a Participant’s enrollment in a program.
h) “Start Date” – The date on which a specific Program begins.
i) “Program Description” – The detailed information and requirements for each program offered, subject to modification at Maslow Research Center’s discretion.
2. Enrollment
By enrolling in any Program, the Participant acknowledges acceptance into the program, subject to the terms and conditions outlined herein.
3. Payment Terms
a) All fees are payable in USD unless otherwise specified.
b) Fees must be paid in full at least 30 days before the Program's Start Date unless otherwise arranged in writing.
c) Payments can be made via credit card, corporate check from a Sponsoring Organization, or direct transfer.
d) Failure to make timely payments may result in termination of the Participant’s enrollment in the Program.
e) A non-refundable $250 enrollment fee is required for first-time registrations.
4. Refunds and Cancellation
a) The Participant may withdraw from the Program by providing written notice at least 10 Business Days before the Start Date. In such cases, a refund of the Fees, minus a $250 non-refundable administration fee, will be issued.
b) If a withdrawal notice is not received within the required time frame, the Fees are non-refundable.
c) In case of cancellation or rescheduling by Maslow Research Center, alternative Program dates will be offered, or a full refund will be provided.
5. Program Changes
Maslow Research Center reserves the right to modify Program content, delivery methods, or schedules for reasons including, but not limited to, changes in law, external circumstances, or insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified of any significant changes.
6. Change Requests, Emergency, and Illness
Participants may request to switch cohorts or defer attendance due to extenuating circumstances, subject to the following:
a) Change requests must be made in writing at least 21 days before the Start Date.
b) An administration fee of $250 applies for approved changes.
c) In cases of emergencies or illness, make-up sessions or change requests may be accommodated at the discretion of Maslow Research Center.
7. Program Completion Requirements
a) Participants must attend at least 80% of live (synchronous) sessions and complete 100% of assignments to be eligible for certification.
b) Failure to complete the Program within specified timelines may result in being marked as incomplete.
8. Transfer of Credits
Maslow Research Center does not accept transfer credits from other institutions. Participants must complete the entire Program to earn certification.
9. Confidentiality and Intellectual Property
a) Participants must keep all information shared during the Program, including that of other participants, confidential.
b) All Program materials and intellectual property remain the exclusive property of Maslow Research Center and may not be reproduced or shared without written consent.
10. Attendance and Participation
a) Participants must attend at least 80% of the Program’s total hours.
b) Active participation in all Program activities, including live sessions, discussions, and assignments, is required for successful completion.
11. Code of Ethics
Participants must adhere to the ICF Code of Ethics and Maslow Research Center’s Code of Conduct. Discrimination or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated.
12. Grievance Policy
Participants are encouraged to resolve any issues directly with their instructor or staff. If unresolved, grievances may be submitted to the Program Manager. Appeals can be directed to i n f o (at) maslowresearch.com, and responses will be provided within 14 days.
13. Use of Certification and Brand
Upon certification, Participants may use Maslow certification logos in accordance with brand guidelines. Unauthorized use of Maslow’s name or trademarks is prohibited.
14. Termination of Agreement
This Agreement may be terminated if either party breaches its confidentiality obligations or fails to meet material terms of the Agreement.
15. Force Majeure
Neither party will be liable for failure to perform due to events beyond their reasonable control, such as pandemics, natural disasters, or governmental restrictions.
16. Limitation of Liability
Maslow Research Center’s liability is limited to the amount paid by the Participant under this Agreement. In no event shall Maslow Research Center be liable for incidental or consequential damages.
17. Miscellaneous
a) This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties.
b) If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.
c) Notices or communications must be delivered by hand, mail, or email to the addresses specified in this Agreement.
d) This Agreement is governed by the laws of Delaware, USA.
